Hi and welcome to the Kelin's Chows home on the web. I became interested in this breed 22 years ago when I was looking for a good watch dog. My husband was working nights with the Fire Department, and I was left alone with my daughter (1 year old at the time). I needed a dog that would be reliable, and protective, and yet at the same time loyal, and loving to my daughter. I found theses qualities in the Chow Chow. Ever since I purchased my first Chow my interest in the breed has grown into love. Soon I found myself breeding and showing chows . With very limited breeding, I have over 30 home bred champions, all of which have been breeder, owner handled to their championships.

Many of our babies have gone on to be top dogs and record breakers in other countries such as Brazil, Venezula and Finland. Many of our boys are Best in Show and Best in Specialty Show winners in various countries as well as in the US. At present Duncan (pictured below right) is #2 Chow Chow Breed, #5 All Breed and #1 Chow Chow Breeder/Owner/Handled. McDuff his son will no doubt follow in his footsteps.
